KEEPING IT LOCAL

Making great food and drink begins with great ingredients. We are proud to work with a variety of local suppliers to source the freshest seasonal ingredients, which we use in our distillery and kitchen: showcasing the very best the South West has to offer.

philip warren butchers

Different from most other “direct from farm” meat suppliers Philip Warren are professional butchers who farm. Their business has been farming and butchering since 1880 and to this day they still dry age and mature their meat the traditional way on the bone before cutting for today’s modern consumer.

Philip Warren also work with many other small farmers who manage land from the margins of Bodmin moor and Dartmoor to the North Cornish coast and throughout the verdant grasslands of the Tamar Valley that lie in between.

It is here that you will find Philip Warren Butchers, in the historic old market town of Launceston, the ancient capital of Cornwall, where we act as a true route to market for our farming community.

Cornwall is renowned for its lush countryside, epic coastline, tasty pasties and mouth-watering ice cream, but sorely missed a complex, high quality coffee until the arrival of Cornish Coffee in 1986.

In 2014, Cornish Coffee began roasting coffee in the UK for the first time. The most important stage of production before the cup, roasting is when the coffee farmer’s hard work is celebrated. Cornish Coffee operates a meticulous and scrupulous roasting process, with no short cuts taken. Ensuring that their customers produce the most refined, delicious and aromatic coffee in all of Cornwall.
